City of Issaquah,
Washington
Issaquah is a mixture of the old and the
new. Farmhouses from the early 1900s and brand new condominium complexes
blend to make Issaquah a suburb with a rural field. Entire avenues have
buildings that have not changed in 50 years, while new shopping centers exist a
block away. This community of 15,000+ is conveniently
located off the I-90 corridor just 16 miles east of Seattle. As one of the
fastest growing communities in Washington, this once logging and mining village
has become the northwest destination for living, working, playing and doing
business in the 21st Century. Known as the "Issaquah Alps",
Cougar, Tiger & Squak mountains form the natural wonders at the base of the
Cascades for boundless opportunities to enjoy outdoor sports and activities.
Issaquah boasts a Saturday farmer's market, chocolate factory,
zoological park, salmon hatchery and operating trolleys. The big festival
is called Salmon Days, which celebrates
the return of the salmon to the downtown hatchery. These are just a
few of the attractions that make Issaquah a must see for potential homeowners.
Issaquah is a great place to live and buy a home. Like all great
communities, it's been a terrific investment. Follow the link to find out
