About Us - Meet the Team

 

Cathy and Paul Waidelich bring a unique mixture of experience to help you sell or purchase your next home.  Cathy holds a Masters Degree in Counseling.   The oldest of 6 children, Cathy had leadership responsibilities at an early age.  She put herself through school by working at the residence halls at Southern Illinois University, where she earned a Masters Degree In Counseling.  From there, she worked in their Wellness Center, creating a national model and supervising over  1,000 people.   She also did private counseling for individuals and couples.  These leadership and counseling skills helped her learn the fine art of negotiation, which she brings to every real estate transaction.  Cathy’s positive attitude and ability to understand other people’s concerns helps buyers, sellers, agents and all other parties to a home deal feel they are achieving a “win win”. Her last position before becoming a Seattle real estate agent was Education Director at the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.  The MBA has given Cathy and Paul great contacts and resources that benefit almost every home buyer and seller.

 

Paul Waidelich began his real estate career in mortgage.  He understands the financing side of real estate transactions, and has many contacts in that industry.  Most people are unaware that the biggest single reason for the failure of a real estate deal is the inability to acquire financing.  Cathy and Paul have never lost a deal due to financing, largely due to Paul’s experience.  Most clients still use Paul to explain confusing or troubling parts of the mortgage transaction, or rely on his referrals to a qualified mortgage broker.  Before Paul moved into the real estate industry by starting One Stop Homes & Loans, he owned a web design firm, Seattle Web Wizards.  This design and marketing experience has helped Cathy and Paul understand how clients need to market their own homes.  Paul also has a great understanding of real estate law.  While he does not give legal advice, his meticulous attention to detail helps him train the buyer's agents who show property for the Waidelich Team.

 

 

Blaise Devera, our Buyer’s Agent, has been a vital part of our team for over 3 years.  His career has taken him from modest condos to elite estates.  From Gig Harbor to Marysville, his foundation as a Buyer’s Agent has given him invaluable expertise on multiple communities within the Puget Sound Region.  Blaise is amazing at finding clients their perfect place at the best possible price.  Whether you are a first time home buyer or looking to settle down in your dream home, you will be in good hands both during and after the transaction.  He is our “outside guy” who is always ready to jump in the car & GO on a moments notice.


 

 


Gina Kent has been involved in Real Estate for most of her life.  Her father is a General Contractor.  Since childhood, she has mastered the skills to recognize the difference between a well-crafted home & one that is poorly built.  When Gina is your Buyer’s Agent, she knows the moment she sees a potential home if there are construction flaws you should be aware of.   Gina’s knowledge puts her a step above whether looking at new construction or a re-sale.  Gina is equally at home in Mercer Island mansions with experienced homeowners & condo conversions with first-time buyers.  Gina brings a great deal of energy & passion to finding the perfect home for each and every client.

 

 

Donna Maxwell joins the team as a dependable, hard-working real estate agent with solid experience buying and selling homes through out the Puget Sound.  Licensed since 1998, she attributes her success to a strong work ethic, great negotiating skills and the ability to track & manage details.  Donna approaches each client as a partner.  She is loyal to her clients’ real estate goals and is committed to helping with all needs that arise from a real estate transaction.  From financing to inspections, Donna always strives for the win/win.  Her knowledge of the Greater Seattle Area & current market conditions have proven invaluable to her clients.
